1. Bench Joiner/cabinet maker

Salary:
£14 – £17 per hour and commensurate with experience.
As a bench joiner at Wessex Joinery you will be expected to be able to work on your own or as part of a team. You should be able to read technical drawings and produce cutting lists. You must be proficient in the setting up and use of all types of woodworking machinery and have a good sound knowledge of all aspects of woodwork and joinery methods and techniques.
Required Skills & Experience
- A minimum 5 years’ experience in joinery both in manufacture and on site.
- Ability to carry out site surveys and advise the Joinery Manager of all relevant site details.
- Enthusiasm to complete projects efficiently and to a very high standard.
- An ability to manage installations, including pre and post installation requirements, making every effort to meet the customer’s expectations.
- Clear and positive communication skills between Workshop Manager and Customer.
- Maintaining close contact and updates on any issues that may arise.
- High personal standards for punctuality, tidiness and professionalism
