With our extensive knowledge and expertise we are to supply best advice and deliver on your requirements
We follow a process that ensures the best possible outcome for our clients on any project, both in terms of meeting their brief and delivering the best possible value for money spent. This is as follows:
We’ll discuss exactly what you want to achieve and offer advice on the best way to do this, including budgets and timings. Every project is different of course but whatever you are looking to achieve we have the knowledge, experience and expertise to deliver on your requirement.
Once a brief has been confirmed we can estimate costs and provide you with a detailed quote for the work. This may include sketches or CAD drawings (3d impressions) to show in more detail exactly what we will be creating, as well as a full specification of the materials required, proposed timings and resources. We can also offer full project management where different trades are involved.
When the budget has been approved we can move forward with the project, providing samples such as wood, glass, work tops and different fittings, and agree work schedules to suit you.
All joinery work is carried out in our workshop in Somerset, where we have all the specialist machinery and equipment to make doors, frames, cupboards, furniture etc. All work is carried out to the highest specification by our team of expert, qualified joiners.
We know the importance of looking after the homes of the people that we work for. We always take great care to be clean, careful and thoughtful when working in someone’s home, for instance, we cover furniture with dust sheets, lay down plastic walkways and either work outside or keep doors closed to prevent shavings and sawdust from getting dispersed around. When working on external windows we always board-up and make safe between being on site to ensure security, warmth and convenience!
Client satisfaction is really important to us. We are careful to keep you informed as a project progresses and always follow up at the end of a project to ensure that all our clients are delighted with the work that we have done.
Our house incorporates different styles of building including Georgian and Victorian. Stephen has restored several of the windows and has been extremely good at retaining the historic style. Two of the bays have beautiful wooden arches, Stephen replaced the rotten wood and re-glazed these achieving an exact replica of the original window. We are very pleased with the work that he has done.
